Updated October 1, 2026. This article originally covered early reports about DJI Neo 2. Several claims in that version were not supported by the final specifications. The corrections below replace those claims; the original URL is retained for readers who followed the earlier post.
What we corrected
- DJI specifies a 1/2-inch sensor for Neo 2, rather than the previously claimed larger sensor.
- The listed colour mode is Normal. Our earlier D-Log claim should not be used when choosing this drone.
- DJI's laboratory flight-time figure is about 19 minutes, or about 17 minutes with propeller guards. Actual flight time depends on conditions and configuration.
These details were checked against DJI's Neo 2 specifications. The old preorder dates and price predictions have been removed; consult the current product listing for Canadian pricing and availability.
