SIMPLE DECISION

Three questions narrow the lineup quickly.

01
NEED SDK DEVELOPMENT? Pro → Edu

If development access matters, move from the core Pro platform to Edu.

02
NEED FIELD PROTECTION? Edu → Ultra

Move to Ultra when the project also requires a more field-oriented expandable platform.

03
NEED MORE PAYLOAD & RANGE? Ultra → Max / MaxPro

Step into the Max family when industrial workload becomes the defining requirement.

D1 Ultra-W is maintained as a separate SpeedyDrone SKU. Hard specifications are intentionally not copied from D1 Ultra and should be confirmed against the exact Ultra-W configuration.

08 D1 SERIES FAQ

Before you choose your D1.

Key questions about model selection, development access, field protection, payload, charging and the differences between compact and industrial D1 platforms.

01

Which AGIBOT D1 model should I choose?

Start with the application rather than simply choosing the highest model.

D1 Pro is the compact core quadruped platform. D1 Edu is the better choice when SDK access and development interfaces are required. D1 Ultra adds stronger field-oriented protection and expansion capability.

Move to D1 Max when payload, endurance and operating range become important. Choose D1 MaxPro when the project requires substantially heavier sustained payload capability and harsher-environment operation.

02

What is the difference between D1 Pro and D1 Edu?

Their core physical and mobility specifications are largely the same: both currently list a 5 kg effective payload, 3.5 m/s maximum speed, 1–2 hours of endurance and a 6 ± 1 km range.

The major distinction is development access. D1 Pro does not support secondary development and has no listed expansion interfaces.

D1 Edu supports secondary development and provides Ethernet, USB, Power, SBUS and UART interfaces for development hardware.

03

When should I choose D1 Ultra instead of D1 Edu?

D1 Edu is primarily the compact development configuration.

D1 Ultra moves further toward field robotics. It currently carries an IP54 protection rating, uses an Open SDK and supports additional mounted modules and payloads.

AGIBOT lists compatibility with positioning modules, LiDAR, depth cameras, RTK, 4G/5G, image transmission and other expansion hardware. Ultra also supports URDF modeling for simulation workflows including Isaac Sim and MuJoCo.

04

What is D1 Ultra-W?

D1 Ultra-W is maintained as a separate wheel-equipped configuration in the SpeedyDrone D1 lineup.

It should not automatically be treated as having identical specifications to D1 Ultra. Exact mobility hardware, payload, protection, runtime and development interfaces should be confirmed against the specific Ultra-W SKU before purchase or project planning.

05

What is the main difference between D1 Max and D1 MaxPro?

D1 Max is positioned as an industrial productivity platform. AGIBOT currently lists a 25 kg rated payload, IP67 protection, at least 5 hours of unloaded battery life and at least 29 km of unloaded range.

D1 MaxPro pushes the platform toward heavier-duty work. It supports sustained payloads of up to 50 kg, uses a 2081 Wh battery, lists 5.5 hours of unloaded runtime and carries the same IP67 protection rating.

MaxPro also adds stronger environmental capability, including operation from -20°C to 55°C and continuous stair climbing up to 30 cm.

06

Can I add custom sensors or payloads to the D1 Series?

It depends on the model.

D1 Pro is not positioned as a secondary-development platform. D1 Edu provides SDK access and physical expansion interfaces.

D1 Ultra provides an Open SDK and standardized expansion support for sensing, positioning, communications and mounted payloads.

D1 Max provides communication, power and control interfaces for flexible secondary development and deeper industrial integration.

07

Does the D1 Series support autonomous functions out of the box?

Do not assume that every autonomous workflow is included by default.

For example, AGIBOT states that the intelligent follow function on D1 Ultra requires user secondary development.

Likewise, D1 MaxPro supports an optional autonomous charging dock. The charging dock is not the same as saying every MaxPro deployment automatically includes an autonomous charging workflow.

08

What types of applications are the D1 platforms designed for?

Application depends heavily on configuration.

AGIBOT currently highlights security patrol and scientific research and education for D1 Ultra.

For the larger industrial platforms, AGIBOT highlights logistics and transport, personnel search and rescue and task execution for D1 Max; MaxPro is positioned for heavy-load operation, logistics and transport and emergency rescue.

D1 SERIES

Mobility first.
Then add what the job requires.

Compact platforms prioritize agility and development. Ultra adds field capability and expansion. Max and MaxPro move toward higher payload, longer endurance and industrial operation.
