DJI Osmo 360 II FAQs
What changes from Osmo 360 to Osmo 360 II?
Osmo 360 II increases the maximum 8K panoramic frame rate to 60fps and adds AI SuperNight 2.0, user-replaceable outer lenses, NFC connection and dual-direction magnetic quick release. Both generations retain 105GB of available internal storage. The comparison above separates the changes from shared features.
Is Osmo 360 II worth upgrading to?
Consider Osmo 360 II if you want 8K/60fps capture, its updated low-light mode or the ability to replace a damaged outer lens yourself using a separate kit. If your original Osmo 360 already covers your filming needs, compare those specific changes before replacing it. Check existing accessory compatibility as well.
Which Osmo 360 II combo should I choose?
Choose Standard Combo for the camera essentials and one battery. Choose Adventure Combo for three batteries, a battery case, an adjustable adapter and a 1.2m invisible selfie stick. Choose Limitless Riding Combo when the included Heavy-Duty Clamp Mount Kit is the accessory you need. All three use the same camera.
Which combos include extra batteries or a selfie stick?
Adventure Combo includes three 2150 mAh batteries in total and one Osmo 1.2m Invisible Selfie Stick. Standard and Limitless Riding each include one battery and no selfie stick. The powered Osmo 360 II Battery Extension Rod is sold separately; the original Osmo 360 Battery Extension Rod is not compatible with Osmo 360 II.
Do I need a microSD card for Osmo 360 II?
No. Osmo 360 II has 105GB of available internal storage, so you can start recording without a microSD card. For additional capacity, use a card from DJI's recommended list. A microSD card is sold separately.
Can I use Osmo 360 II underwater?
The camera body is rated for depths up to 10 m under DJI's specified conditions, with the battery and USB-C covers securely closed. However, water refraction can distort the image and cause stitching errors. DJI recommends the separately sold Osmo 360 Invisible Waterproof Case for underwater filming; its stated depth rating is up to 50 m under controlled test conditions. With the case underwater, keep subjects at least 1 m away for stitching.
