Bionic dual arms, force-controlled manipulation and fused environmental sensing give A2-W the flexibility required for complex production environments.
A2 Lite and A2 Ultra share a full-size humanoid form, while A2-W is purpose-built for wheeled industrial manipulation. Compare the specifications that matter most before choosing a platform.
Choose A2 Lite when performance, entertainment and group choreography are the priority.
Choose A2 Ultra for richer perception, intelligent interaction and autonomous commercial use.
Choose A2-W when the objective is manipulation, logistics and flexible manufacturing.
Buying an embodied robotics platform is more than choosing a model. SpeedyDrone helps Canadian organizations understand the A2 family, identify the right configuration and move from product selection toward a practical procurement plan.

Key questions about the AGIBOT A2 Series — from the differences between A2 Lite and A2 Ultra to the industrial role of A2-W.
A2 Lite is the performance-focused full-size humanoid configuration, suited to entertainment, demonstrations and coordinated robot performances.
A2 Ultra adds a substantially richer perception, interaction and computing configuration, making it the stronger fit for intelligent interaction, autonomous navigation and commercial deployment.
A2-W is fundamentally different: it replaces bipedal locomotion with a four-wheel-drive mobile base and focuses on dual-arm manipulation for flexible manufacturing and logistics workflows.
Both robots are approximately 169 cm tall, but A2 Ultra uses 40 total degrees of freedom compared with 23 on A2 Lite.
A2 Ultra also adds 7-DOF arms, dexterous hands, 3D LiDAR, RGB-D cameras, RGB and fisheye cameras, an array microphone and Wi-Fi plus 4G/5G connectivity.
Its maximum listed walking speed is 1.2 m/s, compared with 0.8 m/s for A2 Lite.
A2-W is designed around flexible manufacturing and mobile manipulation rather than humanoid walking.
AGIBOT lists tasks including grabbing, placing, loading and unloading, transportation and terminal plugging. Its four-wheel-drive chassis supports zero-radius turning and crab-style movement for work in production environments.
AGIBOT lists an approximately 2 kg maximum single-arm load for both A2 Ultra and A2 Lite.
A2-W is designed for heavier industrial manipulation and lists a 5 kg single-arm load with seven degrees of freedom per arm.
A2 Ultra is listed at approximately 3 hours standing and 1.5 hours or more walking.
A2 Lite is listed at approximately 4.5 hours standing and 1.5 hours or more walking.
A2-W lists up to 5 hours of runtime. All three platforms support battery replacement, while A2 Ultra and A2 Lite also list fast charging.
The A2 Ultra configuration includes 3D LiDAR, RGB-D cameras, an RGB camera and fisheye cameras.
Combined with onboard computing and communication hardware, this gives A2 Ultra a much richer perception stack than the performance-focused A2 Lite configuration.
A2-W combines a 360° LiDAR, four AI vision sensors and two six-dimensional force sensors for environmental perception and manipulation.
The platform also uses high-precision force control and dual-arm coordination for industrial tasks.
The AGIBOT A2 Series brings together the A2 Lite performance humanoid, the perception-rich A2 Ultra full-size humanoid and the A2-W wheeled industrial robot. The family covers applications ranging from entertainment and intelligent human interaction to logistics, material handling and flexible manufacturing.
