DJI INTELLIGENT BATTERY CHARGING · CANADA

DJI C10000 Intelligent Power Supply

A single-output intelligent charging system with fast- and slow-charge connection methods, adaptive power adjustment, self-diagnostics, and integrated electrical protection for compatible DJI intelligent flight batteries.

  • Up to 9,000 W at 220–240 VAC*
  • Up to 3,000 W at 100–120 VAC*
  • 1 charging channel
  • Model CSX702-9500

Power Input Matters

Two official input/output configurations

C10000 output depends on the connected AC supply. The 9 kW figure belongs to DJI's 220–240 V fast-charge configuration and must not be presented as standard 120 V outlet performance.

220–240 VAC configuration 9,000 W

Maximum DC output

DJI specifies a maximum output of 59.92 VDC, 175 A, and 9,000 W when the required 220–240 VAC input configuration is used.

  • Main input: 220–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 24 A max
  • Auxiliary input: 220–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 24 A max
100–120 VAC configuration 3,000 W

Maximum DC output

DJI specifies a maximum output of 59.92 VDC, 60 A, and 3,000 W for the 100–120 VAC configuration.

  • Main input: 100–120 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 16 A max
  • Auxiliary input: 100–120 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 16 A max

Not a standard-outlet 9 kW charger: fast-charge wiring draws more than 16 A and must not be connected to ordinary 16 A or 10 A receptacles. DJI requires fast-charge wiring to be performed by a qualified electrician wearing insulated gloves.

Intelligent Charging Functions

Power management with system feedback

The C10000 communicates with the connected battery, adjusts charging current to the battery's accepted level, and uses onboard indicators and diagnostics to report charging status and faults.

Adaptive power adjustment

Charging current can be adjusted automatically according to battery status and certain non-critical operating conditions.

Status LEDs

Separate indicators communicate readiness, charging, full-charge state, warnings, errors, and module status.

DJI Agras diagnostics

Connect the power supply to DJI RC Plus by USB cable to view detailed fault information in DJI Agras.

Integrated protection

DJI lists overcurrent, overcharge, overvoltage, undervoltage, and overtemperature protection, plus status display.

Battery Compatibility

Confirm the battery and adapter before ordering

DJI's standalone guide and its current aircraft pages cover different battery generations. The exact battery, heat-sink, cable, adapter, and regional power configuration must be matched as a complete system.

Directly listed in the C10000 guide

DJI's C10000 User Guide v1.0 lists the following compatible intelligent flight batteries:

  • DB1560
  • DB800
  • T40
  • T30
  • T20P

New-generation battery systems

DB1580 and DB2160 require an adapter cable

DJI's T70P product footnote states that DB1580 and DB2160 require an adapter cable with C10000. DJI's T100 FAQ separately confirms that the DB2160 interface does not directly match C10000.

DJI also presents C10000 within the current T70P power system. Because the standalone guide predates these newer batteries, confirm the exact adapter, heat sink, firmware, and regional SKU with SpeedyDrone before purchase.

Official Connection Methods

Fast and slow charging require different power connections

The following is a purchasing overview, not an electrical installation guide. Read DJI's full manual and have the site power assessed before use.

  1. Industrial-grid fast charging

DJI describes using both fast-charge cables with a three-phase five-wire industrial supply rated at 18 kW or higher. The two live conductors connect to different live terminals. A qualified electrician must perform the connection.

  2. Generator fast charging

DJI requires a third-party single-phase generator with 220–240 V output and at least 12 kW. Both fast-charge cables are used; follow the generator manual and DJI wiring instructions.

  3. Slow charging

Use the regional slow-charge cable with the conversion cable and an appropriate AC outlet. Do not use two slow-charge cables simultaneously indoors, and never combine a fast cable with a slow cable.

DB1560 Charging Time

9–12 minutes under DJI's specified conditions

DJI states that the C10000 can fully charge one DB1560 Intelligent Flight Battery in 9–12 minutes. The result depends on charging-station altitude, the use of a cable that meets fast-charging requirements, and battery-cell temperature between 15°C and 70°C (59°F and 158°F).

Battery-specific figure: the 9–12 minute claim must not be applied to DB2160, DB1580, or any other battery. DJI identifies charging-station altitude, fast-charge cable compliance, and battery-cell temperature as factors affecting the DB1560 result.

Electrical & Environmental Safety

Plan the charging area before operation

C10000 is high-power electrical equipment. Its operating environment, wiring, ventilation, and clearance requirements must be followed together with the battery manual and applicable Canadian electrical rules.

Required setup

  • Place the unit on a flat, stable, properly insulated surface.
  • Maintain at least 50 cm of clear ventilation space around the unit.
  • Keep at least 30 cm between the power supply and the charging battery.
  • Operate only between -5°C and 40°C (23°F and 104°F).
  • Clean the fan dust cover regularly to preserve cooling performance.

Do not

  • Do not use fast-charge cables indoors.
  • Do not operate in direct sunlight, thunderstorms, rain, or other wet environments.
  • Do not place the power supply or battery on blankets or carpet.
  • Do not unplug AC or battery-charging cables while charging is active.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings or place the unit near flammables or corrosives.

Frequently Asked Questions

DJI C10000 FAQ

Can the CSX702-9500 documented here deliver 9,000 W from a standard Canadian 120 V outlet?

According to DJI's CSX702-9500 specification table, no. It lists a 3,000 W maximum output for the 100–120 VAC configuration; the 9,000 W maximum belongs to the required 220–240 VAC fast-charge configuration. Site wiring, receptacles, breakers, generator compatibility, and local code compliance must be assessed by a qualified electrician.

Why do some current DJI pages mention 9,000 W together with 110–120 V?

DJI's current FlyCart 100 marketing contains wording that conflicts with the voltage-specific C10000 User Guide and T50 specification table. This listing follows the detailed CSX702-9500 table: 3,000 W maximum at 100–120 VAC and 9,000 W maximum at 220–240 VAC. Confirm the exact regional SKU, nameplate, cable set, and manual before installation.

Is the C10000 a three-phase charger?

DJI describes C10000 as a single-phase-input power supply. One fast-charge installation method draws from a three-phase five-wire industrial source by using two fast-charge cables connected as specified by DJI. That installation must be completed by a qualified electrician.

Can C10000 charge DB1580 or DB2160 Intelligent Flight Batteries?

DJI's T70P product footnote states that both require an adapter cable with C10000. DJI's T100 FAQ separately confirms that the DB2160 interface does not directly match C10000. Confirm the required adapter, heat sink, firmware, and regional power configuration before ordering.

Does every compatible battery charge in 9–12 minutes?

No. DJI's 9–12 minute statement applies specifically to fully charging one DB1560 battery under its stated fast-charge conditions. It should not be applied to DB2160 or other batteries.

Does C10000 charge more than one battery at a time?

No. DJI specifies one output channel, and its guide states that the power supply connects to one Intelligent Flight Battery.

Does the C10000 need activation?

Yes. Before first use, connect DJI RC Plus to the internet, connect the power supply to the controller by USB cable, then open DJI Agras and select Device Management > Charging Device. Follow the current DJI guide and app prompts.

Can C10000 be used in rain?

No. DJI does not publish an IP rating for the C10000 in the reviewed specification, and its guide prohibits operation in direct sunlight, thunderstorms, rain, and other wet environments.

Where can I read the official instructions?

Read the DJI C10000 Intelligent Power Supply User Guide before activation, installation, connection, charging, maintenance, or storage.
