DJI AGRAS T50 · RELAY RL01-65 · CANADA
Position the radio link above orchard canopies or tall crops that can obstruct a direct connection. DJI Relay helps maintain stable signal transmission between a supported DJI RC Plus remote controller and AGRAS aircraft in complex agricultural environments.
Elevated Relay Point · Clear Antennas · Linked Through DJI Agras
Official RL01-65 highlights
DJI recommends positioning the Relay at an elevated location to help address signal blockage in orchards or fields with tall crops. Its internal battery supports up to four hours of operation, with external USB-C power available for extended use.
Maximum transmission distance is region-dependent and appears in the full specifications below. Actual performance depends on the regional configuration, local regulations, interference, terrain, installation, and operating conditions.
Why use a relay?
The Relay is designed to relay the radio signal where the direct path between the remote controller and aircraft can be blocked.
Install the Relay at a high location such as a roof or hill. DJI recommends positioning it at least 2 m above the crop canopy and keeping both antennas unobstructed.
The RL01-65 operates on 2.4000–2.4835 GHz and 5.725–5.850 GHz, subject to the product's regional configuration and applicable radio regulations.
Use the USB-C port for charging, connecting a compatible mobile power supply, or firmware updates. DJI recommends a USB Power Delivery charger that meets the published input requirements.
Deployment overview
Initial setup is completed through the DJI Agras app. The remote controller and aircraft must already be linked before the Relay is linked and activated.
DJI instructs users not to set up the Relay outdoors during thunderstorms. Keep the antennas clear and follow all instructions in the current DJI user guide.
Compatibility
This listing is written specifically for AGRAS T50 use. DJI's RL01-65 guide also names additional supported products, but the regional hardware, remote controller, DJI Agras version, and firmware must match.
DJI Relay RL01-65 used with a compatible DJI AGRAS T50 system and DJI RC Plus remote controller.
The April 2024 RL01-65 user guide lists the following additional aircraft under Supported Product. Confirm current firmware and regional compatibility before purchase.

Frequently asked questions
This description covers DJI Relay model RL01-65, the Relay specified by DJI for AGRAS T50. It does not use the different Relay specifications published for newer AGRAS generations.
No. This listing covers model RL01-65. DJI lists AGRAS T50, T25, T40, T20P, and DJI RC Plus for this Relay; the Relay specifications published for the T100/T55 generation are different. Confirm the model before ordering.
It relays radio signals between a supported DJI remote controller and AGRAS aircraft. DJI describes elevated deployment as a way to address signal blockage in orchards, tall crops, and other complex environments.
No. Seven kilometres is DJI's FCC test result in an unobstructed, interference-free environment at a flight altitude of 2.5 m. Actual range varies, and the figure does not replace aircraft limits, visual-line-of-sight requirements, local laws, or site-specific risk assessment.
Yes. DJI lists AGRAS T50 and the DJI RC Plus Remote Controller as supported products for RL01-65. Confirm the regional versions and current firmware before ordering.
No. DJI states that one Relay does not support simultaneous signal transmission for multiple aircraft.
DJI recommends setting it up at least 2 m higher than the crops, with the antennas unobstructed. The location and mounting method must also be stable and appropriate for the site.
Yes. DJI states that total working time can be extended using a mobile power supply connected through USB-C. The external power source must meet the listed input specifications.
DJI publishes an IP55 rating, but also states that protection can be reduced by misuse or damage. DJI specifically instructs users not to set up the Relay outdoors during thunderstorms.
DJI's guide states that the charging cable is included, while the USB charger and extension rod are not included. Confirm the exact regional carton contents with SpeedyDrone before purchase.
