DJI Agras T50 · Dry-Granule Spreading · Canada
Convert the DJI Agras T50 for controlled agricultural spreading with a 75 L tank, real-time remaining-material monitoring, and support for compatible dry granules from 0.5 to 5 mm.
50 kg is the spread tank's internal-load specification—not an unconditional operating payload. The DJI Agras app recommends a permitted load based on the aircraft's current status and surroundings. Never load more material than the app recommends.
Purpose-Built Spreading
DJI combines the spreader, aircraft weight sensors, and DJI Agras app controls to support material-specific setup and more informed operation.
DJI's updated spinner-disk design is engineered to improve spreading uniformity. Actual distribution still depends on the material and operating settings.
The spreading-system control module works with the aircraft's weight sensors to monitor remaining material and improve spread-rate control and empty-tank warnings.
Configure spreading parameters and create separate material templates in the DJI Agras app. Flow calibration is required for a new template.
The removable gate simplifies service and can be changed for low-flow or smaller-diameter spreading configurations when the correct gate is available.
The fenders help block material travelling upward and are designed to reduce the risk of granules striking the aircraft's propellers.
The DJI Agras app can report an empty tank and abnormalities involving rotational speed, temperature, or hopper outlet size.
Agricultural Applications
Follow the instructions for the material being applied, aircraft guidance, and all applicable Canadian requirements.
Configure a dedicated material template and calibrate the flow for the fertilizer's specific particle and flow characteristics. DJI used 4 mm urea for its published maximum-flow test.
DJI identifies seeding as a low-application-rate scenario in which the appropriate small-flow hopper-gate setup can improve low-flow precision. DJI recommends that gate when material diameter is 2 mm or less, or when the standard hopper-gate opening would be 30% or less.
Agricultural dry granules must remain within the specified 0.5–5 mm diameter range and be used according to their own instructions.
Powder spreading is not supported. Do not use liquids, powders, out-of-range materials, or this system for non-agricultural purposes.
Verified Specifications
The values below are transcribed from DJI's T50 specifications, product information, user guide, and support FAQ.
| Official product designation | T50 Spreading System |
|---|---|
| Compatible aircraft | DJI Agras T50 only |
| Firmware requirement | The aircraft firmware must support the spreading system |
| System weight | 6.0 kg, including the spread tank and fenders |
| Spread tank volume | 75 L |
| Spread tank internal load | 50 kg maximum internal-load specification; do not exceed the lower payload limit recommended by the DJI Agras app |
| Compatible material diameter | 0.5–5 mm dry granules |
| Powder spreading | Not supported |
| Published maximum spreading rate | Up to 108 kg of granules per minute, measured by DJI using 4 mm urea; actual rate depends on granule size, density, surface characteristics, settings, and operating conditions |
| DJI-published T50 spread width | 8 m; actual width depends on operating conditions and required coverage uniformity |
| User-guide recommended spreading range | 4.5–7 m for optimal performance after adjusting material diameter, spinner-disk speed, hopper outlet size, and flight altitude |
| Ingress protection | IP67 under stable laboratory conditions in accordance with IEC 60529; protection is not permanent, and liquid-intrusion damage is not covered by DJI's product warranty |
The 8 m published spread width and 4.5–7 m guide recommendation come from separate DJI references and are shown separately to preserve their original meaning. Neither figure is a guaranteed field result.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. This listing is for the T50-compatible spreading-system accessory. The aircraft and supporting power equipment are separate.
No. DJI states that powder spreading is not supported. Use only compatible dry granules measuring 0.5–5 mm.
No. It is the tank's internal-load specification. The DJI Agras app recommends an allowable payload based on current aircraft and environmental conditions, and its recommended limit must not be exceeded.
No. DJI publishes up to 108 kg of granules per minute as a maximum measured with 4 mm urea. Actual flow varies with granule size, density, surface characteristics, hopper-gate setup, calibration, settings, and operating conditions.
DJI's T50 specifications publish an 8 m spread width. The spreading-system guide separately recommends adjusting the relevant variables to achieve a 4.5–7 m range for optimal performance. Actual field coverage varies.
DJI's Product Information lists one in the box, but DJI's separate User Guide describes it as sold separately. Contact SpeedyDrone to confirm the exact contents supplied with the Canadian SKU.
Yes. Tare calibration is required before first use, and flow calibration is required when creating a new material template. Recalibration is also required in the additional circumstances identified in DJI's current guide.
