DJI Reference Recharge Times

Measured from 30% to 95%

These are published fast-charging references—not complete 0%–100% charge times.

DB1580 Intelligent Flight Battery 7–8 min DJI T70P specification · 30% to 95%
DB2160 Intelligent Flight Battery 8–9 min DJI T100/T70P specification · 30% to 95%

DJI test conditions: sea-level altitude, ambient temperature from 15°C to 40°C, and battery-cell temperature from 15°C to 75°C for fast charging.

Charging time varies with input power, altitude above sea level, initial charge level, and other factors. Separately, DJI states that actual output power may vary with local power-grid conditions, including distance, cable material, and wire gauge.

Setup and Operation

Designed for managed field charging

Activation before first use

DJI requires first-time activation through a connected remote controller in the DJI Agras app under Device Management > Charging Device.

Status indication

Dedicated LEDs report the charging-channel, DC-output, and AC-input status. Warning or error details can be checked through the connected remote controller.

Air-cooled charging workflow

DJI's procedure connects the charging cable to the compatible air-cooled heat sink before the battery is placed into the heat sink.

Electrical planning is required in Canada

The C12000 is not specified for a standard 120 V household outlet. Its published input range starts at 200 VAC for single-phase operation. Fast-charge wiring must be completed by a qualified electrician, and DJI specifies a 380 V three-phase supply rated at least 15 kW for its fast-charge procedure. Have the exact Canadian site supply and charger model verified before ordering or installation.

Safety Requirements

Follow DJI's installation and charging guidance

Read the current C12000 and battery documentation in full before installation or use.

Only qualified electricians wearing insulated gloves may complete the fast-charging electrical connection.
Operate on a flat, stable surface with at least 50 cm of ventilation clearance around the device.
Maintain at least 30 cm between the charger and charging battery, and keep the battery away from the charger's ventilation openings.
Do not use or store the product in direct sunlight, rain, or other wet environments; keep it away from heat, water, flammable gases, and corrosives.
Do not disconnect AC power cables or the charging cable while the charger is operating.
Clean the fan dustproof cover regularly to maintain cooling performance. In case of fire, DJI specifies a dry-powder extinguisher, not a liquid extinguisher.

Package Reference

Components shown in DJI's user guide

Regional package contents can differ. Confirm the exact contents listed near the SpeedyDrone.ca product purchase controls before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

DJI C12000 Intelligent Power Supply FAQ

Can the C12000 operate from a regular Canadian 120 V outlet?

No. DJI specifies 200–264 VAC for single-phase input and 175–520 VAC for three-phase input on model CSX901-12000. Standard 120 V service falls outside those published ranges.

Does single-phase power provide 12,000 W charging?

No. DJI rates the charger at 12,000 W with three-phase 380 V input and 3,000 W with single-phase 220 V input.

Which batteries are compatible with the C12000?

Current DJI Agras T100 and T70P specification pages list the DB1580 and DB2160 Intelligent Flight Batteries as compatible with the C12000. DJI's C12000 User Guide v1.0 also lists DB2100, so DB2100 compatibility should be confirmed for the exact regional charger and battery before purchase.

Does the DB2160 fully charge in 8–9 minutes?

No. DJI's published 8–9 minute reference is specifically from 30% to 95% under stated fast-charging test conditions. It is not a complete 0%–100% charge time.

How many batteries can the C12000 charge at once?

DJI specifies one output channel for model CSX901-12000.

Is professional electrical installation required?

Yes for the fast-charging connection. DJI states that only qualified electricians wearing insulated gloves may complete that connection, and local electrical requirements must be followed.

Is the slow-charging cable included?

DJI's user guide says to contact a local dealer to purchase the slow-charging cable separately. Confirm the exact Canadian package contents before ordering.

Specifications are based on DJI-published information reviewed for this listing. Regional models, package contents, electrical requirements, and compatibility may change. Always follow the model nameplate and the current DJI documentation supplied with the product.
