Drone Flight Training (for Advanced Drone License)
A 3-hour hands-on flight training built for one purpose: getting you ready for Transport Canada’s Drone Flight Review. The session simulates the complete flight review process from start to finish, so there are no surprises on review day.
How the Session Runs
- Flight Planning — plan the flight the way a reviewer expects to see it
- Airspace Management — check and manage the airspace for your flight
- Site Survey — survey and assess the flight site
- Drone System Training — know your aircraft and its systems cold
- Hands-on Flight — fly the maneuvers under instructor guidance
Duration & Schedule
- 3 hours of hands-on, instructor-led flight training
- Sessions run every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm
- Session booking is available upon enrollment
- Location: AlteX droneHUB, 3800 Lloydtown-Aurora Rd, King, ON L0G 1J0 — a four-season training facility on a 70-acre site, with small classes and a 1:2 instructor-to-student ratio

- This training prepares you for the flight review — you should have passed (or be about to write) the Transport Canada Advanced written exam before your review

Orders below the applicable threshold are charged shipping at checkout. For NT, NU, and YT, the applicable free-shipping threshold applies only when each individual packaged item weighs 8 kg or less; items over 8 kg require a shipping quote. Dispatch Time
Orders placed and fully paid before 3:00 PM ET on business days may be eligible for same-day dispatch if the item is in stock at our Toronto store.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM ET, or when the item is not currently in stock at our Toronto store, will be processed based on product availability and the applicable fulfillment timeline.
Pre-order, backorder, special-order, out-of-stock, and unavailable items are not eligible for same-day dispatch.
