This DJI Agras T50 maintenance checklist is a methodical season-start review of the aircraft, payload, power system and field kit before field time becomes expensive.

01 / AIRCRAFT

Begin with the parts that carry the load.

Airframe &
propulsion

Clean the aircraft first. A clean surface makes cracks, loose hardware, residue and rubbed-through areas much easier to see.

  • Unfold each arm and confirm its locking mechanism fully engages; look for unusual movement, damage or distortion.
  • Inspect every propeller for cracks, chips, deformation, delamination, loose fitment or chemical residue.
  • With the aircraft powered down, inspect motors for external damage, contamination, loose parts and abnormal resistance or roughness. Do not force a motor to turn.
  • Trace visible wiring and connectors around the arms, motors, landing gear and payload interfaces for pinching, abrasion, exposed conductors or residue.
  • Inspect the front and rear radar surfaces and binocular vision sensors for cracks, obstruction, residue or contamination; clean them only as DJI directs.
  • Check landing gear, tank mounting areas and payload interfaces for damage, looseness or residue.
  • Confirm the correct propeller is installed in the correct position before flight.
02 / PAYLOAD

Spraying system

Inspect the spray equipment only after it has been cleaned and made safe according to the chemical label and DJI instructions. The aim is to catch leaks, restricted flow paths and damaged components before work begins.

Hoses, nozzles & filters

Use a clean visual inspection to check hose routing, nozzle assemblies and serviceable filters for residue, blockage, wear, damaged seals or loose connections.

  • Inspect the spray tank, cap, seals and drain area for cracks, damaged threads, residue and signs of leakage.
  • Follow each hose from tank to pump and nozzle; check for kinks, soft spots, abrasion, loose clamps and residue around joints.
  • Check delivery pumps and visible wiring/connectors for damage, contamination and secure fitment.
  • Inspect nozzles and filters for blockage, wear, damaged O-rings or contamination; clean or replace only as DJI directs.
  • Complete the applicable system check using current app and manual guidance before a work day.
  • Do not operate with a suspected leak or irregular system indication.
03 / PAYLOAD

For dry-granule work.

Spreading system

If your season includes dry-granule work, inspect the DJI Agras T50 Spreading System before installing material. Remove stored residue and moisture before they interfere with the gate or rotating components.

Gate, hopper & mounting

Check the hopper, gate and installation points for dry, clean movement and positive attachment before a calibration or field operation.

  • Inspect the hopper and lid for cracks, residue, moisture and secure mounting.
  • Confirm the gate moves as commanded and does not bind, stick or remain partly open.
  • Inspect the spinner disk and surrounding area for damage, buildup or anything that could obstruct rotation.
  • Use the current DJI procedure and intended material to complete any required calibration check before application.
04 / POWER

Inspect each battery individually.

Each DB1560 Intelligent Flight Battery deserves an individual inspection. Keep batteries clean, dry and disconnected while checking them.

Case, vents & terminals

Inspect the case, handles, vents and terminals in good light. Look for impact damage, deformation, corrosion, contamination or damaged contact surfaces.

  • Inspect the battery case, handles and locking interfaces for impact damage, deformation, cracks or loose components.
  • Inspect terminals, communication contacts, ports and protective covers for corrosion, residue, moisture or physical damage.
  • Confirm there are no unexplained battery, charger or app warnings before returning the battery to service.
  • Review how the battery was stored and follow current DJI charging and return-to-service guidance before field use.
  • Inspect the battery cooling equipment, airflow path, fan area and connecting cable before the first charging cycle.
  • Keep batteries isolated from conductive materials, moisture and damaged equipment during transport and staging.
Treat any abnormal battery condition as a stop condition. Remove a DB1560 from service and follow DJI’s current battery guidance if it is swollen, leaking, unusually hot, damaged, has compromised terminals or displays an unexplained warning. Do not charge or use a battery with unresolved damage or abnormal behaviour.
05 / POWER KIT

Treat the charging setup as one connected system.

& cooling

Inspect the C10000 Intelligent Power Supply, D12000iE Multifunctional Inverter Generator where used, battery cables/connectors and cooling equipment in your setup.

  • Check enclosures, handles, vents, controls and visible fasteners for physical damage, contamination or obstructed airflow.
  • Inspect AC leads, charging leads and connectors end to end for cuts, crushed sections, heat damage, bent contacts, loose fitment or residue.
  • Check cooling equipment housing, fan/air path and cable condition. Keep air paths clear and follow equipment-specific setup instructions.
  • For the generator, use the manufacturer’s current operating and maintenance guidance.
  • Do not start or connect equipment with damaged cables, a suspected fuel/engine issue or an unresolved warning.
06 / MISSION

Check the information, not only the hardware.

Controller &
firmware

  • Inspect DJI RC Plus exterior, screen, sticks, buttons, antennas, ports, charging connection and battery status.
  • Confirm the controller is linked and that the aircraft, payload configuration and controller present normal status.
  • Back up and review maps, field boundaries, obstacle/exclusion areas, task data and application settings; verify the correct farm, field and operation type.
  • Review release notes and use the current DJI firmware workflow. Plan updates with time for checks and validation.
  • Avoid making an untested update the last step before a critical job.
07 / FIELD KIT

Prepare for ordinary issues; leave repairs to qualified service.

Field spares

  • Correct replacement propellers and relevant DJI-approved installation items for your configuration.
  • Clean spare nozzles, filters, seals/O-rings and compatible hose/connectivity parts for the spray setup.
  • Spreading-system accessories and serviceable parts appropriate to the hopper/gate configuration in use.
  • Clean water, approved cleaning supplies, soft lint-free cloths, protective caps and secure storage for clean parts.
  • PPE required by the product label and your operating procedure.
  • A charged communications device, current manuals/digital records, and a clear path to technical support.
08 / FIELD READY

This quick pass is the final readiness check—not a substitute for the deeper pre-season inspection or DJI’s pre-flight procedure.

  1. Look around and under the aircraft. Clean airframe, locked arms, stable landing gear, clear radar/vision surfaces, and no fresh residue or visible damage.
  2. Check propulsion. Correct, undamaged propellers; clean motors; no loose or damaged visible wiring.
  3. Confirm the payload. Correct spray or spreading system installed, tank/hopper secure, no visible leaks or obstructions.
  4. Check the battery and power kit. Correct DB1560 installed, no abnormal case/terminal condition, undamaged charging and cooling cables.
  5. Open the RC Plus and app. Normal connection/status, correct field and task data, and no unresolved alerts.
  6. Stage the field kit. PPE on hand, clean spares accessible and a plan to stop if an abnormality appears.

Stop the operation, isolate the affected equipment and seek qualified help if you find a cracked or distorted airframe/arm, damaged propeller or motor, damaged wiring, a leak, a gate or spinner that does not operate normally, a swollen/leaking/abnormally hot battery, damaged power cables, an unresolved warning, or unexplained abnormal behaviour in the app. Do not improvise repairs, bypass warnings or continue simply because the job is scheduled.
